Larger than life and a real person who worked tirelessly in his crusade for social issues, mostly for new regulations in regard to what were then called “convalescent homes”. For his efforts in gaining legislation protecting the elderly residents of these homes, he was awarded by the Governor with a California drivers license issued in the name of “Captain Sticky”.
