My mother started smoking "Pall Mall" filter less cigarettes in the early 50's. She would send me almost daily to the local liquor store to pick her up a pack. As a young boy, I was curious and asked her "why she smoked". I still remember well what she told me ""OUTSTANDING...and they are MILD!" This ad was everywhere (radio, magazines, billboards).
