The Epidemic of Loneliness was well researched and written. From my perspective (being 80 years old and living mostly alone in a community where there are no English speakers and my inability in speaking Lao) means we have to communicate by other means. Having similar interests in the development of the community and teaching the kids some English and learning some Lao from them

is very rewarding and keeps me going.
